Two Bona Fide Contracts Requirement
To remain listed, each PSO is required to have two bona fide contracts with different health care providers within each succeeding 24-month period following its initial date of listing. Each PSO is required to notify the Secretary that it meets the two bona fide contracts requirement no later than 45 days before the end of each succeeding 24-month period following its initial period of listing. A PSO is encouraged to notify the Secretary as soon as it meets the requirement. On its PSO Web site, AHRQ provides information on each PSO’s initial date of listing, the date that the two bona fide contracts requirement must be met (including the date that the PSO fulfilled the requirement) and whether the Secretary has been notified that the PSO has met the requirement in the current 24-month period of listing. |
